‘Big Brother Canada 4’ exit interview: Dallas Cormier on campaigning hard, dangerous players

Dallas -We had a really crazy 24 hours or so on the “Big Brother Canada” live feeds prior to the eviction show, but it ultimately ended in a way that made Dallas Cormier fans rather sad. The journeyman welder, who we had named pre-show as our likely runner-up for the season, was sent home in a close vote.

In a conference call with reporters today, we had a chance to speak a little bit with Dallas about his time in the house, if he could’ve done anything different, and who he thinks is the most dangerous player left.

CarterMatt – What could have done something different in your fight to stay alive?

Dallas Cormier – I really don’t think I could have. I know Jared, Raul, and Mitch were not going to [budge]. I gave Mitch a deal that would’ve been the best deal in ‘Big Brother’ history. I gave him my word that I would not come after him if I won HoH, I would never vote against him, and if I made jury and he made the final two, he would have my vote no matter what. I told only one person that, and he was the only person. He was the only person that could have been persuaded out of [that group], and he [didn’t take the offer]. I would’ve stayed true to it! I really would have.

With Nikki, I pleaded to her, I pleaded to her again, and one more after that. I had Cassandra, Joel, and the brothers in, I thought I had Nikki in. I knew Jared and Raul and Mitch weren’t going to vote with me. Ramsey, I tried hard with that one too. I thought I had some more votes; waking up Thursday morning, I even thought that it was going to be a tie. They change on a dime on that house. I can’t say that I’m too surprised, I’m definitely a little bit disappointed, but it is what it is.

How much consideration was there to you and Jared coming together as a Clash of the Titans to take out the middle of the house?

Absolutely. I pitched that idea to Jared twice. Kelsey and Raul didn’t feel like they wanted to work with me, and he decided to work with them instead of me. It is what it is, I can’t blame him and say it’s his fault. I think me and Jared as a team would’ve done some serious damage inside that house, but after he told me he wasn’t going to work with me, I told him he was going to be working against me.

Who do you think is the most dangerous player as of right now in the house?

The most dangerous player in the house is Tim, and that’s hands-down.
