‘The Flash’ season 2, episode 18 preview: When will Grant Gustin, cast return?

Tonight, “The Flash” jumped back in time (at least sort of) to bring you the events of “Flash Back.” This was certainly a twisted episode with some significant surprises, with those freaky wraiths being fairly high on the list.

So when are you going to see the show return to the air after all of this? Well, you’ll be waiting for a while. At the moment, Tuesday, April 19 is the planned return date, which is a much longer time than we originally expected to wait for new installments to air. The reason for that is fairly simple: The finale is scheduled for much later than we expected (May 24).and as a result of that the show needs to go hiatus for a little while.

The good news here is that when the show does come back, you can expect it to do so with a run of consecutive episodes that should take you all the way to the end. From there, you will have a chance to learn more about Zoom, how to stop him, and maybe a little bit more of his origin story at the same exact time. Perhaps the biggest bummer about the way in which the show scheduled all of this out is that you effectively got just two new episodes sandwiched between a run of a ton of repeats.

Ultimately, let’s just hope that the final run (pun intended) makes this lengthy wait completely worth it.
