‘Better Call Saul’ season 2, episode 8 preview: Mike’s vengeance; is Chuck in danger?

Better Call Saul season 2On tonight’s new episode of “Better Call Saul,” we saw quite possibly some of the biggest moves that Jimmy McGill has made so far for the purpose of stepping out and being his own man. He departed Davis & Main, and after making a pitch for Kim to join him at his own firm, eventually returned to his old office ready to start anew.

Eventually, Kim did join him with an idea of them two of them working close to each other, but at separate firms. It was an interesting idea, and the promo after tonight’s episode suggested it could happen. However, we imagine that the moment that may have more people on edge is seeing Chuck McGill suffer from what could’ve been a heart attack; it was a quick moment, and we didn’t really see much of it. then again, we have not really seen a whole lot of Chuck at all this season. He’s been largely MIA, which has certainly made for a very different show. Maybe that changes over the next few episodes.

As for the synopsis below (via TV Guide), it does a good job of letting you know some more of the latest circumstances that Jimmy is going to face, and also more of what Mike is up to in his battle against Tuco and his family:

“Mike is determined to settle the score with a dangerous adversary. Meanwhile, an unexpected opportunity to gain a competitive edge falls in Jimmy’s lap.”
