‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12, episode 16 preview: Are Meredith and Will taking a leap forward?

Tonight, we at least saw on “Grey’s Anatomy” a few moments between Meredith and her new potential love interest Dr. Will Thorpe as she tries to figure out just where she stands in her life, and if she is ready for this kind of commitment. After all, that’s not an easy thing for someone to figure out, especially when they are trying to get over something like Meredith is.

Unfortunately, it appears moving forward into next week’s “When It Hurts So Bad” that Meredith may have pushed things too far, too quickly. The synopsis below has more insight:

“Meredith takes a step forward with Will but quickly regrets it; Maggie senses a disconnection with Andrew; and Amelia reevaluates her relationship with Owen. Meanwhile, Catherine comes into town and really shakes things up with April and Jackson.”

That synopsis really doesn’t give too much away in comparison to the promo, which definitely suggests that there are some much more shocking developments coming up. We’re going to be seeing fights, arguments, and much more in the wake of whatever happens with Meredith and Will following the end of tonight’s episode. This is one of those times where we are rather grateful that there is such a minimal wait between episodes airing, since otherwise it’d be pretty awful to have to sit around and wonder what is going to happen next here.

Rest assured that even while we are waiting, we’ll have some more news for you on this episode at the same time.
