‘The Flash’ season 2, episode 16 video: A deeper look at ‘Trajectory’

Trajectory -

In just over 24 hours, the hiatus for “The Flash” will be over! A new episode of the series is coming to The CW entitled “Trajectory,” and the sneak peek below offers up a little more information about just what sort of adventure now awaits Barry Allen and company.

At the start of the episode, everything is going to start to feel shockingly normal for some of these characters. With the breach closed, they are going to try to spend a little bit of time unwinding, which they have not done in quite some time. However, that comes to a screeching halt when Trajectory blows right by them and begins to steal stuff.

As executive producers Aaron and Todd Helbing detail in the video below, what makes her a challenge to The Flash is that she may actually be faster than he is, and she also has come out of literally nowhere. Where she surfaced from is just one of many questions to be answered in this episode, with another one being what sort of connection that she could have to Zoom. The two Helbings tease that you don’t want to miss the final five minutes of this episode, so we have to imagine that somewhere in there we’re going to get at least one other big reveal that sets in motion the remainder of events this season.

While it may seem to be a little bit late in the season to learn that Jay Garrick / Hunter Zolomon is actually Zoom, there are still eight installments to go. That is plenty of time to continue telling this story in unique ways.
