‘Black Sails’ season 3 finale spoilers: The aftermath of key death
At the end of this weekend’s episode of “Black Sails,” we saw one of the most shocking moments of the entire series so far as Vane found himself hanged. It was a move perpetuated in part by Eleanor, and you should assume that there will be many ramifications that come as a result of that.
Actually, you really don’t need to assume that much at all, since the promo below gives you a rather-solid amount of evidence as to what is coming up. In the upcoming finale, you are going to see a battle against the British like no other, where alliances will shift and Vane’s one-time crew has decisions to make. Who’s to say that the show won’t kill off someone else? This could just be the beginning for what is a rather insane rest of the season.
The synopsis below does do a rather effective job of laying out what to expect:
“Flint acquires an unlikely ally; Vane’s crew seeks a sea change; and Silver makes a sacrifice.”
Given that there is already a season 4 coming down the pipeline, you don’t have to worry so much about this being the final episode; however, it is certainly still possible that once we make it to the end of this season, nothing as you know it will ever be the same. “Sea change” really is an appropriate expression both literally and figuratively.
We will have more news throughout the week on the finale, so keep your eyes peeled for more…

I can’t believe that Charles Vane character was eliminated, He was the only ‘real pirate’ among the crew. He was forthright charismatic and a killer with the true facts of life. Surely, there was another character that could have been sacrificed and stirred up the town against the British occupants and the traitor Eleanor.I found the scene where Vane stops the caravan with Jack, not realistic of Vane’s character. Vane would have made sure that the Governor was taken out right away. I will continue to watch Black Sails because I like Jack, Flint and Silver’s characters, but for how long I can not say.
