‘The Flash’ season 2, episode 16 comic preview raises questions on Trajectory

Trajectory -

It has been a while since we had a lot of additional news to report on when it comes to “The Flash,” and that is definitely why we’re happy to at least have some sort of further information on at this very moment.

Tuesday night marks the debut of “Trajectory” on The CW, which is an episode for the most part defined by the rise of the aforementioned character. She is the first female speedster that has surfaced in Central City, and in a comic preview that you can see over on the show’s official Tumblr, there is a very worthy question asked: Why? Is there some sort of legitimate reason for her arriving in the city now and causing a lot of trouble?

Of course, to date most meta-humans were born out of the Particle Accelerator incident, but it would be rather bizarre if she had simply opted to keep her powers a secret from the entire world until just now. It is with that in mind you have some other theories that rise to the surface.

1. Could there be a breach to another world somewhere out there, even if it is not to Earth-2?

2. Could there have been a similar, albeit smaller, incident out there that caused some people to gain powers?

3. Did Trajectory somehow get a hold of some of the Velocity-9 that we saw Caitlin give Jay as a means to ensure that Geomancer could be stopped?

All are worthy theories in their own right, and we’re excited to see how all of this will unfold come Tuesday. Stay tuned for some further updates!
