ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 5, episode 14 video: Abby, Cyrus talk things out

The fifth season of “Scandal” is bringing another new episode of the table on Thursday night, and there are a pretty wide array of things that you can expect to see over the course of the hour. What’s one of the biggest ones? Think along the lines of a divisive conflict between Cyrus and Abby that seems to focus on one subject primarily more so than any other: Whether or not we are going to ultimately have a chance to see Abby take him to task for some of his wheeling and dealing.

In the sneak peek below, you can see the character effectively call him out for what she claims are some pretty shifty moves when it comes to Governor Vargas, and may be doing something as a result of this to secure himself a spot working on the campaign.

So how does Cyrus respond to these sort of accusations? Pretty much in the exact way in which you would expect. He gets angry (very angry), and as a result of that we’re not sure what the relationship between these two is going to be like moving forward.

In the end, we figure that this is mostly about self-preservation more so than anything else. Both of them are trying to do ultimately what they consider to be in their own personal best interest. As anyone who watches the show knows, this is just the sort of thing that happens to collide on a fairly regular basis. We’ll have more news soon.
