Is ‘Chicago PD’ season 3, episode 18 new tonight? Further schedule notes

Once again, we come into this particular article bearing some particularly-bad news for all fans out there of “Chicago PD“: There is no new installment airing on NBC on Wednesday night. What’s the primary reason for that? It has everything to do mostly with a hiatus the network is doing from now until we get around to next week, which in turn helps the show stay around until the May sweeps. That’s valuable for a number of different reasons, with one of the primary ones being that it keeps the network’s ratings high during a period where they are really under scrutiny by advertisers.

What we can give you now is further verification that there is also going to be another hiatus coming down the road. As according to the Futon Critic, there will be no new episode on either the 6th or the 13th of the month. Instead, the next new episode following “Kasual with a K” (March 23) and “If We Were Normal” (March 30) is on April 20 … go ahead and get your 4/20 jokes out of the way now.

There are still several episodes that are coming up that are of great importance. There will be at least some sort of a crossover coming up, and in going along with that, you can also anticipate seeing a pilot-of-sorts for “Chicago Justice,” the latest spin-off series that was at one point known as “Chicago Law.” We’re looking forward to having some other intel on that shortly.
