Olivia Caridi of ‘The Bachelor’ has no interest in ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ appearance

What’s interesting is that for some people who go on “The Bachelor” or “The Bachelorette,” the experience really is so much more than they could have ever bargained for. While there are many big characters who go on to do “Bachelor in Paradise” / “Bachelor Pad” after their first appearance, some of the largest “villains” / most controversial contestants in history have stayed clear. Look at Kelsey, Bentley, Tierra, or now apparently Olivia Caridi.

While speaking to People Magazine at the taping for “The Bachelor: The Women Tell All,” Olivia made it clear that she is not interested in doing “Bachelor in Paradise” this summer. There were clearly some other people from Ben Higgins’ season who will probably get an invite. Lace Morris seems to be a lock, we’re sure producers want Jubilee Sharpe, and we could see someone like Becca Tilley or Amanda Stanton getting an invite if they are interested.

For Olivia, she apparently had a rather hard time watching the show this season, as she was the target of a lot of online abuse. While she did put her foot in her mouth at times and say some inappropriate things, we do think that the blowback was probably a hundred times worse than anything she did.

Ultimately, let this be yet another reminder here that if you want to be on “The Bachelor,” be sure you play through every possibility, including that the show edits you as some sort of terrible villain. You have to be prepared for that, since the end result of it can ultimately be rather severe and a difficult thing to try and bear.
