‘Game of Thrones’ season 6: Kit Harington makes one admission about Jon Snow’s future

Jon -The sixth season of “Game of Thrones” is a series really shrouded in mystery, but above all else there is one that rises to the priority list: The fate of Jon Snow. At the end of season 5, the character (pictured above with Sam) was killed off at the hands of the Night’s Watch, and other than some sort of resurrection from Melisandre, it’s hard to imagine a whole lot of ways that he could come back from that.

Since that time, there has certainly been a rather interesting back and forth when it comes to the character’s future, mostly in how HBO has insisted that Jon is dead while at the same time fans have refused to believe it. They’re big way of explaining this is that Jon is dead, but that does not mean that he has to remain that way forever.

Well, Kit Harington has now said more about the character’s future than he has in the past few months, though it may not be the information that you particularly want to hear. In a series of Time Out quotes for an upcoming interview about his role in Doctor Faustus (thanks to Winter Is Coming for making them available), Harington did confirm that you will be seeing him … at least in corpse form:

“Look, I’m not in the show any more. I’m definitely not in the new series … I filmed some scenes of me being dead – [jokily] it’s some of my best work.”

Sure, we wouldn’t take this statement as gospel of really anything, but it is interesting that Kit is at least willing to say this much now as opposed to simply being silent altogether.
