‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 7, episode 16 preview: Return date for Paul Wesley – Ian Somerhalder series

Salvatore -

Tonight, “The Vampire Diaries” aired an episode that hopefully satisfied everyone who was looking for some great vampire-themed entertainment. After all, you’re not going to be seeing any more of the show for some time.

Based on the information we’ve heard, you’re going to have to wait until Friday, April 1 in order to see the continuation of this story, and we promise that this is not some sort of cruel April Fools’ prank. The one positive is that when we do get around to this date, we’re probably going to get some new episodes the rest of the way without so many breaks. There’s a lot of story still to tell, so with that hopefully it will be enough to tide you over.

If there is a promo, we’ll update this article with it soon!

Update: We’ve got it for you below, and there’s a lot of intrigue that is being set up here by the flash-forwards mostly coming to fruition now. Rayna is still out there, and the struggle to stop her has become all the more difficult because if she dies, so do her targets. With all of the talent of transferring them and whatnot, it ultimately doesn’t matter who she goes after; after all, it doesn’t look good no matter how you slice it. This is going to be a long hiatus, and based on how The CW releases information, it may be a while before we learn any additional details on the future.
