‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: How will Barry Allen handle Hunter Zolomon reveal?

FlashflashIs Hunter Zolomon officially Zoom on “The Flash” season 2? We’re still going through a little bit of confusion on this subject in many ways, given that we’re not altogether sure who is Jay Garrick, who is Zolomon, or even what time everyone is from. All we know is that Teddy Sears plays both characters, and if it turns out that Jay has been in some way the same person who has been destroying Barry’s life at the same time, this will have some devastating consequences for him and the rest of the team.

As Grant Gustin tells Entertainment Weekly, in many way the devastation is already there given the fact that he already went through a similar heartbreaking discovery when he learned for the first time that Eobard Thawne was actually the Reverse-Flash:

“It’s betrayal and disappointment in himself … Because it’s almost like he’s been through this before, and he can’t believe he let himself go through it again.”

So how will this make Barry specifically handle other new people in the future? It may be a more amplified version of what we’ve seen as of late, where the character has been rather unwilling to tell anyone new about who he is or open himself up. We already seen him send away Patty Spivot rather than throwing her into this world more so than she already was, and we have to imagine that this is a sort of relationship that he would not even get into in the future given the circumstances and what we’ve seen befall him so far.

“The Flash” returns with new episodes on March 22, and we’ll have some other scoop all about it in the near future. Stay tuned!
