‘Better Call Saul’ season 2, episode 2 video: Jimmy gets a new set of wheels

You see that car in the photo above? That piece-of-junk is what Jimmy McGill was driving around in throughout the first season of “Better Call Saul” on AMC. It was not exactly the sort of thing that inspired confidence in your attorney, and we’re glad to see that with him moving up in the world also comes a new car to go along with it.

In the video, you can see Bob Odenkirk’s character show off his ride to some of the women outside of the salon that used to be above his office. It’s good to see that we are not forgetting completely about these humble beginnings, even though it’s pretty clear that Jimmy is on to the next phase of his career now.

So even though he has this new car, does this mean that there is a remote chance he will be happy? Far from it. There always seem to be something more that Jimmy is striving for, and almost some little problem that is stuck in his craw. For the sake of this sneak peek, this problem is as simply as him not being able to stick his cup into its holder properly. Hilariously, he blames this on the metric system before finding a way to make do.

This of this preview as just one of the latest steps in a long transition that will eventually lead to him getting a new name in Saul Goodman, and going down a twisted road that brings Walter White into his life.
