‘Supergirl’ episode 14 preview: Why is Supergirl annoyed?

We know that “Supergirl” on Monday is going to be bringing out at least a few surprises, but to go along with all of that, you’re also going to have in some ways a Kara in recovery.

After all, this about what the character is going through! At the end of this past episode, we saw the end of the Astra character as she was killed by Alex, a move that caused Hank Henshaw to cover for her so that Kara wouldn’t quite think that her sister was capable of doing something like this. While Astra may have been in many ways evil, she was also Kara’s aunt and she has to recover from that.

In the sneak peek below, though, Kara makes it very clear that the way in which she wants to recover is not going to be spending a lot of time sitting around and doing nothing. She’s not thrilled that Hank and the DEO have been trying to take on one of the newest threats to National City without her, and she wants to be involved! We do understand how she feels in this situation, but when the dust settles we do feel like this is largely a case of people wanting to do the right thing for her. Nobody wants to see her so upset, but just so happens to be how thing ended up.
