‘The Good Wife’ season 7 spoilers: First look at Matthew Morrison
Before “The Good Wife” comes to a close at the end of this season, there are definitely a wide array of crises ahead … especially for Peter Florrick. Do you remember what Margo Martindale’s character of Ruth warned us about after Peter exited the Presidential race? It is as simple as the fact that he is now a sitting duck in Illinois, waiting for someone to drop a hammer on him.
As it turns out, this one could be none other than “Glee” alumni Matthew Morrison’s role of Connor Fox. He is an Assistant U.S. Attorney tasked with taking down big fish, and we feel like he will do everything that he can in order to ensure that the Governor is taking down. While the Florrick family will have some support at their side, let’s just say that there are a few different things that you could see over the course of the hour.
This episode featuring Morrison is airing on March 6, and you can see some further details below:
“As the grand jury against Peter Florrick is assembled, with Assistant U.S. Attorney Connor Fox (Matthew Morrison) leading the proceedings, Alicia, Eli and Peter’s lawyer, Mike Tascioni (Will Patton), attempt to discover what charges are being leveled against him. Also, Alicia and Jason attempt to spend a quiet weekend together but are interrupted by her meddling family.”
At the end of the day now, we feel like the ultimate result of all of this could be simple: Trouble, and the sort that could last with the Florrick family for a long time moving forward. We’ll just have to see if that turns out to be the case.
