Is ‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 28 new tonight? Season 3 begins!

For the sake of this particular “Girl Meets World” article, we feel like it’s best to start off with the bad news. Here it is: there is no new episode coming on the Disney Channel tonight. “Girl Meets Commonism” is one week away, *and we wish that there were more specific previews for that episode that we could share right now.

However, we can at least confirm that season 3 is officially under way! Rowan Blanchard and the rest of the cast have all started filming “Girl Meets High School,” which is the first episode set to air at least point later in the year. This is a two-part episode that will hopefully resolve some of the cliffhangers from the season 2 finale (if there are any) and show us the next phase of Riley Matthews’ life.

With that, there are many questions … including whether or not Cory is still the teacher and what happened over the course of the summer for many of these characters. Like with so many other people within the world of TV, summer vacation is being glossed-over in some way.

Before we get to season 3, though, there are still two more episodes to air beyond “Girl Meets Commonism.” One of them in “Girl Meets Bay Window” will air on February 19, while the finale is likely going to air at some point in March. We don’t think the Disney Channel wants there to be a huge gap between episodes, but at the same time we also think that they would have released more information if it was coming to us later this month.
