‘Legends of Tomorrow’ episode 3 video: Let’s name-drop some superheroes, shall we?

LegendsThe third episode of DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” is set to arrive on The CW come Thursday night, and based on the sneak peek below, we are in for a lively affair. Not only that, we are in for another reminder as to just how intense time travel can be.

Below, Rip Hunter gives what we suppose can be described as a pep-talk, where he details much of what he has seen and been through over the course of his life. This includes seeing “Men of Steel die” and “Dark Knights fall,” which is the closest thing to a comment that we’ve heard about Superman and Batman being in this particular universe. Then again, we did assume this in some way already given that Grant Gustin is now heading over to “Supergirl” as The Flash.

The problem that all of these time-travelers are running into now is that the Waverider seems to be reasonably out of commission, at least for now. He needs a little bit of help when it comes to mechanics, and it’s rather lucky that there is a mechanic in attendance courtesy of Jefferson Jackson. He is a little hesitant in regards to what he can actually do to help, but the fact that he’s at least there makes him far and away better than the alternative.

As for what else is coming tonight, be prepared to see Kendra Saunders still reeling from what happened to Carter Hall at the end of this past episode. Also, be ready for more Vandal Savage. Given that he is the Big Bad for the season, he’s not going anywhere soon.
