‘Big Brother Canada 4’ premiere date, airing schedule officially revealed

BB -

For everyone looking forward to seeing the big return of “Big Brother Canada,” we come bearing great news: The show’s premiering on Global a little bit earlier this season than in the past!

The new season will officially premiere on Global Wednesday, March 2 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time, and will air weekly at that time alongside Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 7:00. The Thursday show is the eviction one, and Global’s being rather gutsy when you consider the competition there of “The Big Bang Theory” / “Legends of Tomorrow” / “American Idol” (which admittedly is less of a big deal in Canada). The “Big Brother Canada Side Show” is also returning … but with a twist. Host Arisa Cox is going to be joined once more by season 1 star Peter Brown, but in the place of Gary Levy will not be season 3 winner Sarah Hanlon. The “Side Show” will premiere on Friday, March 4 at 10:00 p.m. on sister station Slice, but will also air on Global on Saturdays at 8:00.

Once again, the show is also going to be offering live feeds at its official site for free, and they have certainly had moments of great entertainment over the years. We do still wish that they didn’t block out the big party last season that feedsters helped the houseguests earn, but we’ll still give them a chance this time around.

As for many other details on the new season, we’re going to have to wait probably at least a couple more weeks to find out. We’ve enjoyed doing wall-to-wall coverage of the show in the past, and we certainly anticipate this continuing moving into season 4.
