‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: The next destinations for Ben Higgins, cast

While we’re going to have some chances later on in this week to discuss the specific events of “The Bachelor’s” new episode on Monday, but before we get around to that, let’s talk here about destinations.

This is a show that does love getting to head to some exotic locales here and there, and for the show this time around, it means that we’re going to the Bahamas. This is a smart move for the series to take in terms of travel. It’s a little more exotic than just taking the women around America like they did with Chris Soules, but also probably relatively price-conscious versus flying the women all around the world. They’re just heading to the city after spending some time in Mexico.

From here, what we’re going to see is the final six women leave the Bahamas and head with Ben Higgins back to his hometown of Warsaw, Indiana, where they’ll get some more time to explore life there. Is this a new tradition for the show to have a Bachelor hometown date? We wonder, since last year we had the same thing with Chris in Arlington, Iowa. The big difference here is that Ben doesn’t actually live in Warsaw (he lives in Denver), so we’re not entirely sure what the show wants to get out of this other than appealing to all of the small-town viewers out there that Ben is just like them in many ways.

Following the time in Warsaw, it’s fair to say that the hometown dates are going to be right around the corner for the remaining women.
