ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8 spoilers: Check out Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion in court!
We promised some time ago that “Castle” would start to release a deluge of teasers and information on some of their upcoming episodes, and we’re seeing that more today courtesy of ABC! Today, the network released some of the first photos for some of their upcoming February installments, and we start here by looking at February 14’s “Witness for the Prosecution.”
For those who were wondering Beckett was going to be heading to court in this episode alongside Castle, the photo above is proof that Stana Katic is there! This episode is set to explore a different side to an old case that both characters were involved in. It’s mostly amazing that we have not seen this show do something like this before given all of the cases that Castle and Beckett have resolved over the course of their run on TV.
At the bottom of this article, you can also check out a new photo of Nathan Fillion on the witness stand … which should be really fun. Given how all of his methods for helping to solve cases are unorthodox, we have almost zero reason to believe that he is suddenly going to start to follow the letter of the law now. We imagine that there will be many consequences of him going up there, with many of them being hilarious.
“Castle” will premiere with a new episode “Tone Death” on Monday, and that’s the episode we imagine we’re going to have more sneak peeks on moving forward. Stay tuned for some further coverage there!

What I’m hoping for over the next three episodes is some return to Castle of old and the elimination of the lame Loksat/Vikram story line. Any progress in those directions will be positive. In truth I don’t expect much and that the show will continue to suffer greatly under the incompetence of the current show runners.

With regard to the two photos of the trial, there is nothing to indicate how long Beckett was on camera. It was not clear where Beckett was when the photo was taken so it is assumed it was in the courtroom during Castle’s testimony in which case she would have been forbidden to speak. So what they tell me is that Beckett will get very camera coverage at and during the trial and that Castle will make a very poor but not comic appearance in testimony. The only thing that may present any promise is that Beckett will recognize Castle’s blunders and will leave the courtroom and save the day – the only hope for salvation of the episode.

Sorry but I do not care to see court cases on Castle. I consider them to be too boring to spend any time with. Remember that Castle was very popular with over 13 million viewers in the first 6 seasons. Remember also that there were absolutely no court cases shown during that time period. Do you think that the two just might be connected. No court cases equals popularity. So you might ask why the drop in viewers if it were not for the absence of court cases. Actually it was long, inane story lines that bored the viewers in the wait.

I am sad with this whole Loksat/breakup and rumors of a spin off and blah blah.If this breakup up continues just end it.If Nathan feels as was reported elsewhere that the love aspect is basically a thing of the past and we have to get used to it then in my opinion he has already checked out.I truly loved this show but all things must pass,A miracle is what is needed to get back to anything we have come to love,a writer and his muse.
