ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8 spoilers: New details on Nathan Fillion story in ‘Dead Red’

You’re going to have a barrage of “Castle” episodes coming up in just over a week’s time, so we hope you’re prepared for that! If you haven’t heard, the schedule is basically going to be that there is the winter premiere “Tone Death” on February 8, and then come February 14 you’re going to have a chance to see “Witness for the Prosecution.” Following that on February 15, another installment entitled “Dead Red” is going to air. We wish the title was reversed here to “Red Dead,” mostly because that’s one of our favorite video-game serious.

Anyhow, we’ve got a short synopsis now (via SpoilerTV) that offers up at least a little bit of insight into what you can expect to see:

“The son of a Russian diplomat is murdered; during the investigation, Castle entertains a jovial Russian security guard, who turns out to be more involved in the case than expected.”

Of course, there is always some good entertainment that comes from Castle letting his guard completely down only to be shocked in some way by what happens next. Hopefully, this will make for a really fun hour of TV, one stuffed with more than a couple of twists and turns! We just wish that we knew at the moment what the role for the rest of the cast in here is, especially Beckett given that we already some episodes in the first half of the season that gave us little to no inclusion of her at all.
