‘Shark Tank’ review: IcyBreeze, 2400 Expert SAT prep, Shefit, and CO.Alition

Sharks -Ready for some “Shark Tank” highlights? This is what this article is all about! There’s a new episode on Friday featuring products from all across the board, and we’re glad to give you fuller impressions on all of them now that we’re having a chance to see all of the pitches.

As with all of our “Shark Tank” reviews, we’re writing this as the episode airs! You can also click on any of the links to be taken to their official website.

Shefit – Is it better than the average sports bra? We love the enthusiasm that she had in promoting the product, and we think that there is potential here for it to become a major player in the workout-gear world. (Granted, we know very little about the subject matter.) What we do know is that sales a good reviews do tend to speak for themselves, and Daymond John knows this. That’s we think that he is the Shark to make a deal with them. If the product works, people will spend more for it versus other sports bras on the market.

CO.ALITION – How valuable is this new backpack in the midst of heavy competition? We do think that there are some smart twists to the technology here that make it very easy to charge your device. Our concern is just that you need hundreds of dollars before any of the technology that makes this business interesting starts to become available. Eventually the two guys at the center of the brand realized that they needed to merge this together with their outdoor brand, and it almost worked … almost.

IcyBreeze – Is this really better than the average cooler, just because it has a portable air conditioner? This is once again a very cool idea, but also rather expensive to boot. Heck, everything about this product is expensive! Millions of dollars have been put into something that we’re sure could be rectified just by getting some sort of battery-operated fan. We think that one of the entrepreneurs’ success worked against them here, and the same goes for a price point that was probably $200 too high for what this is.

2400 Expert – Can these courses really work to improve your SAT scores? It’s a great business, and one that has the statistics to back up most of the claims. It is interesting sometimes how “Shark Tank” is one of the few places where you don’t necessarily want someone who is good at a lot of different things; you want them focused on just a single product, which is what got this company in a little bit of trouble with many of the Sharks. Luckily, Mark Cuban saw through that and is smart. He formed a great deal here to have some stake in a lot of future properties, and he seems to know that even with other things going on, this can still be a great company.
