Is ‘Blue Bloods’ season 6, episode 14 new tonight on CBS? Episode title scoop
Blue Bloods,” like many other CBS shows, has a bit of an old-school airing pattern. Most programs that are out there now tend to air in giant batches, with a long hiatus separating the fall and spring seasons. Part of the idea there is that you can add more programs to your schedule, and try to figure out what could be hits for you down the road.
With that said, this clearly isn’t something that the folks at CBS are that interested in; they’ve got good ratings, and they aren’t shifting from what works for them. As a result of that, there is no “Blue Bloods” tonight. There was an installment last week, and now the show is taking off both this week and next before airing “The Road to Hell” on February 12. This is going to be the first of at least two episodes to air during the month; there will also be an installment on February 19 that, per the Futon Critic, is entitled “Fresh Start.” We’d classify that as intriguing.
There are 22 episodes for the season as a whole, which to us for the most part means that we’re going to have plenty of other chances to see the show shine moving into the future. What we are left to wonder is if the show will try anything particularly lofty as we get closer to the end. While many of their standalone hours are great, sometimes mixing things up is a good way to get a little more attention.
