‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: Robbie Amell reveals major Deathstorm surprise
While Robbie Amell’s “The Flash” character of Ronnie Raymond may be dead on Earth-1, we’ve already learned that he is very much still alive on Earth-2. Not only that, but he will have a very different role to play in the story as the evil Deathstorm. This should be a fun opportunity to see a very different side of the character, but it also could end very badly.
While at the Heroes & Villains Fan Fest in New Jersey (an event that happened on Sunday despite the massive snowstorms the day before), Amell teased to fans that you are going to see Deathstorm do something that is pretty terrible. The comments per ComicBook.com are below, and you’ve been warned that there are spoilers ahead:
“In episode 13, so in a couple weeks, you’ll see me as Deathstorm, and Caitlin as Killer Frost. So I get to come back, and I kill a series regular. So there’s that, I’m probably going to get in trouble for saying that.”
So does this mean that Deathstorm could kill someone like Earth-1 Caitlin, Joe West, or even a newcomer like Wally? We suppose it’s possible, but there are a few things to remember here. For one, we think that this is the episode where Barry Allen joins a couple of other characters to journey back to Earth-2, so the possibilities may be limited; to go along with that, Deathstorm “killing a series regular” could just mean that he takes out someone who lives on Earth-2 already. Technically, he’d be killing a part played by a series regular, but they could still be alive on the other world.
