‘Suits’ season 5 spoilers: How will Mike prepare for his trial?
On Wednesday night “Suits” is going to be returning with all new episodes, and there will be many different matters that the show will have to attend with. You’ve got the current state of what was once Pearson Specter Litt before Harvey’s exit, and of course you have Mike Ross getting arrested and then prosecuted by Anita Gibbs, a woman intent on making sure that he is punished for his crimes committing fraud to pretty much every single person to come into the firm.
What we have for you now are some of the first details regarding “God’s Green Earth,” the upcoming February 10 airing on USA. By the time you get to this installment, some of the strategy is going to be in place for how to keep Mike protected from being in jail for years. While we don’t know if Harvey is going to return to the firm just yet, the synopsis below does make it clear that we are at least going to see him try to help Patrick J. Adams’ character stay afloat despite facing Gibbs and her own plan:
“With time running out before Mike’s case goes to trial, Harvey and Mike are at odds over their strategy, and just what lengths they’ll go to in order to defeat Gibbs.”
We do hope that we will get some sort of ending to this particular story with Mike by the end of this season, but there’s no guarantee of it. One other thing we’re curious about is what happens for the show if he is released, and this primary element of the show, which was here from the pilot onward, goes away.
