‘Black Sails’ season 3, episode 2 preview: Where does the journey go from here?

Tonight marked the season 3 premiere of “Black Sails” on Starz, so let’s hope that it provided you everything that you were hoping for and then some. Given that it was such a long wait to get it to air, you would have to hope that it provided enough of classic pirate action, drama, and political intrigue to get you excited about what could be coming up next.

Unfortunately, the network remains as coy as ever when it comes to handing out more details regarding upcoming episodes, and this includes sharing episode titles. For the time being, all we know is that “XX” is the name for the next installment, and if you look below you can get a good sense, via TV Guide, as to what you can expect:

“The Walrus crew engages with the elements; Teach disagrees with Rackham; Rogers and Eleanor determine terms for their partnership; and Bonny worries about her future with Max.”

Sure it may not be much, but isn’t that at least better than nothing at all? The truth here is that this is a show that does like to play off the element of surprise here and there, so it makes no sense to give everything away just yet. For the time being, all we can hope for is entertainment, and that the series does a good job of playing off of the solid foundation that has already been established. We’ll have further updates as they start to roll in.
