‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Ben Higgins, JoJo Fletcher have their first date in Las Vegas

JoJo Fletcher has been one of the more interesting contestants to watch on “The Bachelor” this season. She hasn’t really been involved in any drama and at times hasn’t even received a whole lot of screen time; yet, she has a group date rose, and it feels fairly clear that she is someone Ben Higgins is really interested in. She just so happens to be someone who is on the quieter side of things compared to some of the other personalities.

Come Monday night’s new episode, though, things will be changing as Ben and JoJo are going to have their first date! The synopsis below gives you a great sense of what to expect, including how Las Vegas may end up being the perfect setting for the two to get to know each other:

“The women realize that more than one of them are developing strong feelings for Ben, and it’s game on! JoJo and Ben share an enthusiastic kiss as they board a helicopter for a panoramic tour of the Las Vegas strip. Ben learns more about the vulnerable side of his date when she shares with him information about her past relationships. Fireworks light up the sky as the couple’s passion ignites.”

Here’s what we wonder now: What are the odds that these fireworks ended up annoying pretty much everyone other than Ben and JoJo? Probably pretty high, since Vegas is not exactly the sort of place where you can get away from a lot of the madness … at least if you still want to have the sort of stuff that “The Bachelor” likes to put on the air.

Ultimately, we imagine this date going really well for the two, especially since Ben has not been one so far to choose people for his dates he has little interest in being with down the line.
