‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: Official details for big Killer Frost – Deathstorm episode

Frost -

“Welcome to Central City” is the title for the upcoming February 9 episode of “The Flash,” and we figure it is going to take very little time at all for this to become the favorite for many fans out there. After spending so much time waiting to see Caitlin Snow become Killer Frost on the show, it’s finally happening … sort of.

The reality here is that this is Earth-2 Caitlin we are talking about, and this episode (entitled fittingly “Welcome to Earth-1”) is going to feature many of your favorites heading over to this other world in an attempt to take the fight right to Zoom. Check out the synopsis below:

“Barry (Grant Gustin), Wells (Tom Cavanagh) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) journey to Earth-2 to rescue Wells’ daughter, Jesse from Zoom. Barry is stunned when he runs into Earth-2 Iris (Candice Patton) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin), but nothing prepares him for meeting Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) and Deathstorm (guest star Robbie Amell). Meanwhile, back on Earth-1, Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) has to take over the Flash’s responsibilities when a meta-human nicknamed Geomancer (guest star Adam Stafford) attacks Central City.”

As for whether or not this is proof that Harry is no longer trying to trick Barry into getting his speed stolen by Zoom, it’s hard to say. It’s possible that Barry has all the speed that Zoom wants to sap from him by this point, but it’s also possible that Harry couldn’t stop Barry and Cisco from wanting to take this trip and tries to tell Zoom in advance.

One other thing to note here: Given that Barry does meet the Earth-2 versions of Iris and Joe, how many candidates do we really have at this point for Zoom? Could it be someone like Cisco, Henry Allen, or Barry himself? We’re starting to run out of candidates.
