‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: ‘America’s Got Talent’ champ Terry Fator to appear on Vegas group date

While you may not hear too much about him in the mainstream, Terry Fator is one of the most successful reality-competition winners ever. Since winning “America’s Got Talent” he has signed $100 million contract with the Mirage, and over the years has become known as a Las Vegas staple. He’s one of those great examples of someone who really had their life changed as a result of one show, and he is to that show effectively what a Kelly Clarkson or Carrie Underwood was for “American Idol.”

Now, can Terry help to change the lives of some women on Monday night’s “The Bachelor“? Well … let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves here. The master ventriloquist will at least take part in helping to run a talent show featuring twelve of Ben Higgins’ suitors all showing off some sort of skill they have picked up over time. We imagine that some will be funny, whereas some others will likely be awkward. Hopefully, one or two of them are genuinely good and figure out a way to take advantage of the opportunity. Performing in front of people is scary, but if they can impress here and get over their nerves it could go a long way with Ben.

Entertainment-wise we do love these group dates so much more than the ones that make women wear ridiculously skimpy outfits, or the ones that have the suitors fighting with each other in some sort of athletic competition where only half of them get time with the Bachelor after the fact. Whoever wins the show will probably get some more alone time with Ben, and who knows? If they go on to win maybe Fator can say that his date, if nothing else, helped to change someone’s life.

We’re just going to be happy if Terry gets the chance to perform somewhere in here.
