‘Scorpion’ season 2, episode 14 preview: Is Paige okay with Walter’s speed-dating?

The latest episode of “Scorpion” season 2 is coming to CBS Monday night, and there is one immediate takeaway that we have from the sneak peek below: Speed-dating may not have been the best use of Walter O’Brien’s time.

When we first heard about the character doing this, our first instinct was just to assume that this may have just been for the purpose of a mission. After all, can you really imagine Walter being all that successful in this venue? However, the new sneak peek below suggests more that this may have been more of a personal choice for the character, and one brought on for the most part thanks to his desire to try and expand his social circle in a way that he has not before tried. Obviously, he wants to meet some new people, and maybe he feels that this is an efficient way to do this.

With that being said, is speed-dating going to upset Paige in any way? The two have made their feelings for each other rather clear, but she claims that it is not too big of an issue for her. After seeing how she reacts at the end of this preview, we’re not so sure about that…

Ultimately our feeling here is that it’s time to actually revisit and investigate the relationship between Walter and Paige once more, largely because it has been so long since the series really touched on it. If they both continue to have feelings, there is eventually going to be a point where it makes little sense to not have them in a relationship.
