Prepare for ‘Black Sails’ season 3 in less than five minutes (video)

Come January 23, Starz is getting set to set sail with the third season of “Black Sails,” and they’ve come up with a rather nice way in order to ensure that we have a chance to catch up: The video below! If for whatever reason you missed out on a binge-watch, or you just want a quick refresher course, this provides it for you. The cast and crew members discuss Flint’s adventures, his arrest, and a team-up plan that revolves common enemies coming together for a unified cause.

Season 2 ended with probably the biggest reach that we have seen on the show yet, and we’re going to see that coming up even more so in the third season. Blackbeard is obviously going to get a great deal of attention, but we have to imagine that he is only the beginning of what awaits Flint and the rest of our characters.

Will this be the season that the show finally receives some of the attention it deserves? That is a question we still unfortunately do not have much of an answer for, but we do certainly hope that the rise in other series on Starz, including “Power” and also “Outlander,” could be influencing factors in convincing more people to check this out. The network has invested a great deal in its success so far, and we have to imagine that they will continue to do so moving forward.
