‘Heroes: Reborn’ finale spoilers: Can you stop the end of the world?

LogoIn just one week’s time, everything is going to come to a close for the “Heroes” franchise on NBC. It’s strange to think about, since basically we’re going to see what will be in one for or another the show’s second series finale.

If you missed it, NBC announced at TCA that there will be now second season for “Heroes: Reborn,” which really isn’t the same thing as canceling it outright if for no other reason than that it was not expected to continue in the first place. We will still stick with our claim, though, that the show would probably be getting another kick at the can if it had scored some enormous ratings.

The finale is going to have probably the biggest stakes possibly, mostly because the fate of the entire world is at stake, and almost everyone is going to need to team up in the event to stop it. You can see the synopsis below to get some additional news on what to expect:

“As the clock counts down to the end of the world, Tommy (Robbie Kay) finds himself up against his biggest challenge yet as Erica (Rya Khilstedt) takes drastic measures to see her plan succeed. Malina (Danika Yarosh) tries to fulfill her great-grandmother’s prophecy to save the world with the help of Luke (Zachary Levi) and Quentin (Henry Zebrowski). Meanwhile, Emily (Gatlin Green) and Ren (guest star Toru Uchikado) desperately search for Miko (Kiki Sukezane). Elsewhere, Carlos (Ryan Guzman) is faced with a life and death choice.”

The only thing we can say is to expect closure; Tim Kring knew all along that this was going to have a definite beginning, middle, and end.
