‘Blue Bloods’ season 6, episode 12 preview: Frank struggles with Joe Reagan’s memory in ‘Cursed’

Blue Bloods season 6“Blue Bloods” is certainly loading up with powerful Frank Reagan stories to help get the new year started in fine fashion! Tonight, “Back in the Day” gave us insight into how he handled a former partner wanting to release a book about their time working together. Meanwhile, the next new episode entitled “Cursed” airing a week from Friday is going to revolve a little bit more about what happens when his son Joe’s memory is being brought back to light. This is a name we haven’t heard often on the show in some time, and this is an interesting time to bring that back.

If you have not seen the synopsis for this installment just yet, you can see it now below:

“When a local mobster is gunned down in his car, Danny and Baez try to get information from the mob’s low-level errand boy they find tied up in the trunk before the gang retaliates. Also, an NYPD officer asks for a new shield number to honor her late father, but Frank is conflicted as it’s the same number as his deceased son, Joe’s.”

Hopefully by the time you make it through this episode you’ll see if Frank is at peace with his decision; as for the Danny story, it’s hard to get that attached to it since it is not dealing with anything in his personal past. That doesn’t mean that it will be terrible; unfortunately, it is just a little more challenging to write about in advance. We’ll have more on the story in due time.
