‘Chicago Med’ spoilers: First look at upcoming ‘Saints’

“Chicago Med” has just made it past its first major crossover event, and that means that for the most part, the show is moving forward with a focus to bring you more individual character stories. It has to set itself up once again in a way that makes it all the more interesting and dramatic the next time that a crossover airs.

Based on the first details that we have for the January 26 episode entitled “Saints,” there is a lot that is going to be happening. You’re going to see Dr. Manning’s new addition start to lead into some family drama, while Dr. Halstead is going to make a few surprising discoveries in the middle of treating a new set of patients. Could this lead to calling his brother in for more investigating? Time will tell.

For now, we suggest that you just take a look at the official synopsis below, with a slight advisory for spoilers if you are extremely worried about such matters:

“When legal issues complicate matters that stall a life-saving bone marrow transplant, Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) must decide whether to disobey direct orders or stand by and put a patient’s life in jeopardy. April (Yaya DaCosta) tends to a caring, homeless man who Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt) evaluates, only to come to an unusual diagnosis that explains his recent behavior. Dr. Natalie Manning’s (Torrey DeVitto) parents (guest stars Michael Hendricks and Regan Rohde) come to town to see their new grandchild, much to the dismay of her mother-in-law, Helen (guest star Annie Potts). Dr. Connor Rhodes (Colin Donnell) treats a couple who are injured on their first date by a hit-and-run driver, who Dr. Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) discovers has his own reasons for causing the accident.”
