‘Beyond the Tank’ preview: Simple Sugars, Biaggi, PetPaint, and 180 Cup

One of the things the we criticized the “Beyond the Tank” premiere for on Tuesday was focusing on only the super-memorable “Shark Tank” products that we already knew were successful, and that’s why we are glad that the second episode Thursday is trying to mix things up a little bit. There are some products featured in here that you may remember, but also at least one or two that probably slipped through the tracks of your brain just because of how long it has been since their first episodes aired.

We’re going to have a full review up later today, but for now, know that these are the four products featured in the episode.

Simple Sugars – The most popular of the bunch, this skincare line got an investment from Mark Cuban. While they have found a good deal of success, there are still some hurdles that they have to jump over to get to the next level.

Biaggi – It’s a line of luggage that has a particular innovation to one of its products that makes it in turn rather attractive. However, during this episode you are going to see a surprising amount of conflict surface over a decision that was made regarding another product in the line.

PetPaint – While this business did not get a deal, you’ll learn more about the challenges that come with that in this segment. We do, for the record, do think that this business is doing what it can to promote what is effectively a novelty product, while giving you the information to know that “painting” your dog with this temporary spray will not harm them.

180 Cup – There will also be some conflict in this particular segment. If you do not remember; 180 Cup was an innovation that allowed your drinking cup to also be a shot glass. It was simple, but smart for parties.
