‘The Voice’ UK spoilers: Liberty X alum Kevin Simm reportedly among contestants

VoiceThe idea of a familiar face auditioning for “The Voice” UK really should not come as too great of a shock to anyone. Just remember for a moment or two here that past seasons of the singing show have also brought out familiar faces from many walks of life in the past, including some that people have seen before.

What’s also important to remember before reading on is that at no point have we seen any former contestant be aided significantly on the road to winning because of past experience on this show. Sure, everybody’s got some of it, but the previous winners have not been former singing stars looking for another shot.

So who is the person who fits this category for the upcoming season premiering on Saturday? Per OK! Magazine, it is none other than Liberty X alum Kevin Simm. He will be hitting the stage in an effort to try to impress the coaches, and it remains to be seen whether or not his efforts will lead to him being a major success. It is still something to watch.

More than anything at the moment, though, our greatest amount of curiosity lies with seeing how the lineup of celebrity coaches is going to fare in both guiding the talent and entertaining us at home. Ricky Wilson and will.i.am are now the elder statesmen, and they will be joined by newcomers Paloma Faith and also Boy George. They both have experience and personality, but will it shine through on the BBC?
