‘Scorpion’ season 2, episode 14 preview: Sylvester’s father takes center stage

Did you enjoy Monday night’s chilly “Scorpion” winter premiere? “White Out” certainly brought one of the bigger adventures to the show that we have seen in some time, and going into the next new episode “Son of a Gun” (airing on January 18), you are going to have a chance to see something much more personal, especially when it comes to the Sylvester character.

Specifically, the synopsis below lays out some of what his relationship is with his father, who probably could not be more different than him if he tried. The mission that unfolds as a result of this could take the team all the way down to Africa; even if they don’t make it there, we imagine that there will still be some other issues that await the gang. Just take a look at the synopsis below:

“Sylvester comes face to face with his estranged father, a retired general, who asks Team Scorpion for help when he believes that a dictator in Africa has uncovered a deadly World War II-era weapon of mass destruction and intends to use it.”

Do we imagine that this episode could make things easier for Sylvester and his father? We’ll have a chance to see in the near future, but we’re hopeful that these two can work out their differences. Hopefully, Sylvester will realize that there may be something to the way that his dad operates, while at the same time maybe he will realize that Sylvester is a hero in his own right, even if he does not go about his efforts in the typical military style.
