‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Is one woman ‘chastising’ Ben Higgins at Rose Ceremony?

Procedure-wise, there is never anything about the first night of “The Bachelor” that is too surprising from what happens the year before. Women make ridiculously over-the-top entrances, someone gets a little too drunk, and at least one person is upset about something that happens at the Rose Ceremony.

Based on everything that we’re hearing about the premiere now based on promos, the first two things mentioned above seem to definitely be true. Meanwhile, the synopsis below does make us think that the third will end up coming true in some sort of awkward-but-also-hilarious way:

“The stakes are high as the long, stressful first night winds down and it’s time for the first rose ceremony of the season. Twenty-one lucky women will continue their journey to win Ben’s heart. But, of course, one brazen bachelorette pulls our Bachelor aside and chastises him for something he didn’t do.”

What could this be? Our major guesses are that either he mispronounces someone’s name, he didn’t give someone a rose and they are upset, or she just feels like she didn’t get enough time with him while there are plenty of other people who did. It’s hard to tell with some of these contestants sometimes, but we figure by the end of the night, their level of frustration and emotion has to be at a high. You have to remember that these first episodes take hours, and by the time we make it to the very end, most of the time people are exhausted.
