‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: New promo offers glimpse at Killer Frost, Barry, and Iris

The folks over at “The Flash” have decided to give us a perfect gift right in the thick of the holiday season, and it just so happens to be a new promo! Everyone is going to have something that they are most excited about with this, so let’s go ahead and start compiling.

1. Killer Frost – Danielle Panabaker is finally getting the chance to play the darker side of Caitlin Snow, though in what capacity remains to be clear. We’ve long stated that we would rather see Earth-1 Caitlin become Killer Frost, mostly because we feel like there are so much more in the way of emotional stakes when it comes to that. In all likelihood, though, this is probably Earth-2 Caitlin, since we have yet to see what she’s up over there.

2. Barry and Iris – What’s with the costumes straight out of some 1940s noir? We’re guessing that this is also probably something straight out of Earth-2, and if that is the case, maybe this could squelch some theories about him either being in jail over there, or potentially being the secret identity of Zoom. Given that no one has been cast for the man behind the mask, we do wonder whether or not we’ve already met Zoom in some form.

3. The Reverse Flash – We just reported earlier this week that Eobard was going to be back, and we’ve got in here video proof of that very thing. Isn’t that something worth truly celebrating, provided that the show actually comes up with a way to have it make some sense?
