‘Person of Interest’ season 5 spoilers: Cryptic title revealed for finale
The fifth season of “Person of Interest” has been filming throughout the fall, though there is still no word just yet as to when the show is going to premiere. In some ways we imagine that this has to be a pretty-awkward process, working hard and putting your time into a show without knowing when the public is going to be seeing.
Luckily, that has still not stopped some news related to the show from coming out. According to a new report from SpoilerTV, the title for the upcoming finale this season is “Return 0,” which in the coding world could be a reference to the conclusion or end of a particular operation. Given the story of the show, that’s obviously no coincidence. This would be a perfect title for the end of the series, provided that we don’t get a season 6.
For the time being, it feels based on all evidence to come into season 5 anticipating it to be the last for the series. While we do enjoy the show very much, CBS isn’t showing the most support for it by continuing pushing back the premiere. It hails from an outside studio in Warner Bros. TV (which always hurts its chances), and we also figure that filming in New York bumps the cost up a little bit.
As soon as we have some further updates on “Person of Interest,” we will have them for you on the site. For now, we suggest contemplating over this title, and also pondering over which story threads you want to see resolved before the finale comes to pass.
