‘Poldark’ season 2: New teases as filming ends for 2015

PoldarkFans of “Poldark,” be bring both good and bad news. The good news is that we’re now many months into filming the second season of the show for the BBC. The bad news? Today marks the last day of filming for 2015, so there won’t be any more teases for a while.

Granted, hasn’t the cast earned a little bit of a break at this point? There is rigorous location work at the heart of this series, not to mention period costumes. What we’re trying to say here is that these are long hours. Heida Reed confirmed the news on Twitter that Friday was the last day of filming for 2015. Our guess is that they’ll be back early in 2016 to do some more work on making this show the best that it can be.

As for when season 2 is going to premiere, our guess for now is at some point in the spring, following up the tradition set during season 1. As a means to keep you more excited, we’ve also got for you below a new photo tease from the show’s official Twitter showcasing Demelza and Verity, two women who have certainly been through quite a bit already over the course of the series’ run. Season 1 ended in a particularly horrific fashion for Demelza, and hopefully we will get a chance to see pretty early on in season 2 what comes next for her.

If you’re interested in learning some more news all about what lies ahead, our advice is simple: Stay tuned! We’ll give you as many future updates as we can every step of the way.
