‘Scorpion’ season 2, episode 12 video: Toby’s a bit of a Grinch

The winter finale of “Scorpion” is airing on CBS Monday night, and as it turns out, not everyone is going to be in the holiday spirit.

The new sneak peek below from CBS shows Toby arriving back to help conduct the team’s “White Christmas” experiment, but he is much more focused on El Niño making things miserable outside than he is on doing anything to exhibit holiday spirit. Happy says “humbug” to him, and this may be one of our favorite things ever. Paige, meanwhile, at least does her part to attempt a little bit more of a chipper approach to getting him in the mood for Christmastime. Based on what we’ve seen in some other previews for this episode, Walter is eventually going to help out with this experiment, as well.

While there will be a more serious component to this episode, we do hope that given the season and everything that we have been through with Megan already this season, the show really makes an effort to pile on some of the fun. The show excels with its comedic moments, and it adds just another tinge of likability to ever member of the team.

Following this episode, the show will be off the air for several weeks, but that won’t be the end of our coverage! Be sure to check back throughout the hiatus, and we will of course also return Monday with both a review for this big episode and also some further news about what could be happening around the bend.
