‘Madam Secretary’ season 2, episode 11: When will Tea Leoni, cast return?
Tonight marked the end of the first half of “Madam Secretary” season 2, and it was a story that certainly felt at times like a murder mystery just like it was a political drama.
So when are you going to see this particular story continue? Be prepared to wait for at least another four weeks. The show will not be returning to CBS until we get around to Sunday, January 10, which is when the cliffhanger involving the sniper / explosion will be resolved and we will be moving on to the next part of the season. From there, you’ll get a chance to see a few more bits and pieces of story before we end up moving forward into the awards-season / NFL hiatus. As always with CBS’ Sunday-night lineup, we expect the show to be pretty much off the air during the month of January. The silver lining is that when it returns in March, it will get a chance to air a variety of episodes in a row leading into the finale, which will most likely be in May.
Does the future look bright for the series as a whole? Both yes and no. While the 18-49 demo ratings are not amazing, this is still the #1 show for CBS on Sunday night in terms of demo numbers and total viewers in primetime. With that in mind, it’s rather hard to imagine the series going anywhere before a third season airs.
We’ll have some other news related to tonight’s episode and during the hiatus, so stay tuned!

Episode 10 of Madam secretary was just plane ridiculous. It didn’t even come close in reflecting some sort of reality at all. Russian president is a former strip dancer while the American president is a former spy. Guess, what the current Russian president is actually a former spy and the current American president was a community organizer. According to the show, America imposes a no fly zone and shoots down 11 Russian jets to zero American looses, they’ve an asset inside the president inner circle and crush Russian military in Mariupol. I think all of this is just plane wishful thinking. The show is just plane propaganda. I am neither Russian nor live in Asia. I just like to watch shows that at least try to mimic the realty, just a little bit, such as Homeland.

Learn to spell. The word is “plain”. Your word, “plane” refers to aircraft

I used to be a fan of Madame Secretary until the last episode (Dec. 13, 2015). Ending the mid-season finale on such a cliff-hanger was very frustrating. Last season, each episode would come to a conclusion. Now they just want to suck you into watching the next episode.

Whats wrong with being sucked into watching the next episode? Plus it’s the mid-season finale. That’s what TV is about. You should be engaged and want to come back and see what happens in the next episode. Allowing the mind to run wild trying to figure out what is going to happened next is the magic of television. It’s like a good book. Most good books leave you wanting to know more because there was no concrete solution. I believe this is exactly the same!

I really dislike the way they run episodes. Oh, by the way, the ones who call this the ” golden age” of television are the ones trying to sell it to you or making a living off it. Oh hum …
