‘Outlander’ season 2 video: Caitriona Balfe answers fan questions!

This has turned out to be quite a week when it comes to “Outlander“! Not only have we seen and read about some season 2 tidbits here and there, but the show, Caitriona Balfe, and Tobias Menzies were all nominated for Golden Globes earlier this week.

To help to tie a neat little bow around everything today, we have a new video just posted by the official Starz Twitter account for the show. Here, Balfe answers a number of fan questions about what she has in common with her character Claire, whether there are things that she takes away from playing her that she applies to her own day-to-day life, and also a few questions that are a little bit of fun. (We’re right there with her when it comes to her favorite workout.)

This has certainly been a very busy last several months for Balfe and the rest of the cast. Season 2 has filmed both in Scotland and in Prague, and sometimes this means very long days and braving some difficult conditions. There is no confirmed premiere date just yet for the show, but our feeling is that it is going to be coming on the air at some point in either March or April. Why change things up too much from last season?

Given that Starz has been doing a series of Twitter teases all month entitled #OutlanderOfferings, let’s just hope that there is going to be many more in the future to give us something to discuss during the holiday season.
