‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3 spoilers: Daisy Johnson will see the good, the bad in being a leader

Agents -The third season of “Agents of SHIELD” so far has taken on a wide array of different topics, and as a result of that, you could say that the Secret Warriors story has been a little bit buried … at least for now. The good news is that this will be changing in the near future. Daisy Johnson has the challenge of leading this group with relative independence, and while this may be great in some ways, it’s also extremely problematic in others … especially since the relationship between her and Lincoln away from the team is evolving.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Jed Whedon made it clear that there are some problems that Daisy’s new role is going to have on her life in the early going this spring:

“Being a leader is a mixed bag … Daisy is going to find out that it’s not just getting to call the shots. The decisions you make you have to live with. She’ll have to face that reality in coming episodes.”

Hopefully, this story will only allow Daisy to establish some more strength and power for the story ahead; she’s going to need it, given what seems to be happening next with Grant Ward as the Beast. This is a very different side of him than what we have seen to date; previously, we knew that he was dangerous, but the man we know (who at least had some heart in there somewhere) is now gone in favor of an alien being with an agenda.
