‘Shark Tank’ revisited: Nerdwax, Foot Cardigan, Two Guys Bow Tie, ValPark Mobile

Sharks -Every now and then, we like to check in on “Shark Tank” products via our Revisited series. It’s a way to ultimately see what has been going on for many of them since the show first aired, even if in this cast we’re looking at products that were really only featured on the show a couple of months ago. This was the episode featuring Troy Carter as a guest Shark.

You can check out our mini-updates on tonight’s products below; click on the links to go to their official websites! Hopefully this episode will re-air again later in the spring, and we can have a better chance to check in at what has been happening in the months that have passed.

Foot Cardigan – Since being on the show the company has picked up some steam. We’ve seen advertisements all over the net, and they are offering subscriptions for adults as well as kids for their sock-of-the-month club. Also, they’re current selling specialty socks for the holiday season.

ValPark Mobile – They didn’t get a deal, and the problem with having an app as a business is that you really have to strike while the iron’s hot. They’re still all over the Washington DC area, but we’re surprised that there is not much promotion going around tonight’s episode … or much happening on their social media channels in general.

Two Guys Bow Tie – We’re still surprised somewhat about the popularity of wooden bow ties, but hey, they did well in the tank! There hasn’t been a whole lot of time for there to be an extreme evolution in this brand since the show first aired, but we like that they are still offering special prices and seem active in keeping the brand going.

Nerdwax – It’s a very simple product with a very simple goal: Keeping your glasses on your face. They didn’t leave the Tank with a deal, but we still think that they will carve a nice little business for themselves. They’ve got a bulk discount going, where you can buy three tubes of wax for $20 as opposed to one tube for $10.
