‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: Robbie Amell will return … but how?

FlashGood news for all fans of Robbie Amell: He is not done on “The Flash” just yet!

In a post on Instagram, the actor strongly hinted at a return for Ronnie Raymond by posting a very key element of Firestorm’s existence. Yet, you still have to wonder just how in the world this is really possible. Didn’t Ronnie die in the premiere? Sure, but Ronnie has already been killed-off once before on the show, and producers are understandably hesitant to get rid of someone who is such an up-and-comer. We think availability may have been one of the only reasons why we switched over to Jefferson Jackson as the new partner to Victor Garber’s Martin Stein.

We suppose that it is possible that Amell’s return has to do more so with who he is playing on Earth-2 than Ronnie Raymond, but then again, is it really that reasonable to think that he would be a part of Firestorm in both worlds? That seems a little strange given that no two characters are exactly the same. The one that is probably the closest is Harrison Wells versus “Harry,” his cocky and still-alive counterpart.

Given where “The Flash” is in production right now, expect to get some answers on Ronnie in either late January or early February, unless the show is doing something strange and filming really out of order. We’ll have some further information as it starts to come out.
