‘Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance’ episode 13 preview: Are more injuries, blindsides coming?
The great news tonight on “Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance” is that we didn’t see anyone leave as a result of an injury. The bad news? Despite his recovery, Joe ended up going home.
We’re now left with the remaining seven contestants going into next week’s new episode, and it appears already as though this environment is starting to really take its toll on the remaining contestants. It looks like, based on the promo, that both Spencer and Tasha are starting to get really banged-up. We feel like the biggest factor in all of the pain this season is rather simple: The weather. With all of the rain, these people are hungrier and more depleted than anyone that we’ve seen so far. Often, you need nourishment to have a great shot at winning these challenges, and both Spencer and Tasha were left out of the family visit tonight alongside Jeremy.
One other thing to look at moving forward is that both Jeremy and Spencer are terrified over the thought that they could be voted out of the game next, thanks mostly to a potential women’s alliance. Are they more likely to win immunity with Joe gone? Sure, but one of them is probably in a situation where they will have to win out the rest of the way in order to get to the final tribal council. It’d be silly for the women to want to take either one of them to the end, mostly since we don’t see many paths for someone like an Abi and maybe a Kimmi to win against either one of them. Kelley Wentworth may have a shot, and Tasha could at least get votes from Savage and maybe one or two other people.
With just a few more tribal councils left, it’s shaping up to be one crazy end to this season.
