Is ‘Blue Bloods’ season 6, episode 10 new tonight on CBS?

Blue Bloods season 6For everyone looking forward to watching “Blue Bloods” tonight on CBS, we come bearing some bad news: There is no episode coming on the network Friday night. As for the reasoning for that, it’s rather simple: We’re still in Thanksgiving holiday weekend mode. The network is opting for repeats both this week and the one after, and will return to tell some more stories come December 11.

So what can we expect to see in terms of story when the show returns? Basically, you will have yet another one of Frank’s classic moral dilemmas as the police commissioner of New York City. He will learn about a group of activists who are threatening to burn the American flag, and as a result of that, will have to figure out to himself how far he is willing to let free speech go. Is there a limitation to what should be permitted here, and are these people harmful? These are both issues that he is going to need to work through during this episode.

There is not too much story left to tell here in 2015, but you better believe that come early next year there will be a variety of different cases and conflicts coming on the air. One of the larger long-term conflicts right now is between Danny and Linda in the aftermath of the shooting at the end of last season; hopefully over time this will start to become easier for the two of them, and they will be able to move forward.

Stay tuned, as we’ll have more news on the show along the way!
